I've mentioned more than once that I love motorcycle touring. In past years I've belonged to more than one club. If we were riding to a scenic location I'd always carry my camera to capture the occasion. The folks I rode with knew me, loved my photos & encouraged my shooting.

Family was a different experience. I'd always have to take just snaps and in most cases be forced to return by myself because kids have no patience. They only think of themselves & what they want. When the whining started the fun of photography was lost.

Now, I ride with a few friends who all carry cameras and join me in my hobby, otherwise they're not welcome. I'm getting cranky in my old age and now I want what I want when I want it. LOL

I tend to go alone, Christopher has been out with me, but he's been bored sideways, so it makes me feel rushed, which I don't like, so would rather go alone

I also took Jack with me one day, bad, bad idea, just as I got the best picture ever to be taken lined up there was this cat, and suddenly I was flying in the opposite direction, and my chance was gone

Me and OH go out together , he does sometimes get bored though so I try and pick places where there is something to interest him besides photography. Luckily enough Sophie and Conor are old enough to be left at home ( YAY )
