Yeah that's much better!
It not only is less prominent, but actually adds to the image too, becoming a part of it
I always much prefer subtle borders (or none at all) to let the image speak for itself

i only put borders on to give contrast against the white of the forum...now if you could make it black........

I prefer the newer border - though I'd probably edit the surrounding frame so it didn't show any water droplets.. Not sure...
