Re: Thames Estuary - Gravesend

I prefer the original No 3 Bazza. But I think it is all down to personal taste. If we all liked the same thing it would be a bit tedious.

Thank you Bob. Could you show mean what you mean please? I didn't think I put it centered. I'm still very much the learner.

I would however like to see the same picture aged, I think it would make a huge difference

As it is a Victorian pier having a picture look as if it was taken in those times?? well what do you think

For me it adds that something, but as always I try to give honest opinions on what I like and not so keen on. Bazza
Thanks Bazza. These are what I seen in my head and tried to put that into a photo.
I only learnt the rule of thirds last year so learning what everyone says on here.

No1, I like the the clouds, water and the fact that that you could see Kent and Essex.
No2, just tried to keep it minimal as possible.
No3. I tried 4 different pp here. I went for that one I chose because I thought it looked the best and also it hid the scaffolding.
I really like the pp you've done. It shows the age for a cast iron pier. Can I ask how you done it?

This is one I thought of but still preferred the original...

Thank you Sharon. I'm glad you can see what I was trying to do with the simple.

Re: Thames Estuary - Gravesend

I like no3, stands out for me, my eye tends to wander too much in the first two. The PP does add something to the last image, not as keen on the edits, but thats down to the fact that im not a fan of excessive PP.
