Let's see your bags

What type of camera bag do you use. Small or large, old or new.

Let's see a picture of it.

I'll start the ball rolling.

Mine's old, dirty, blood stained, and a little bit smelly when wet but it's been a friend for 10 years or more and I would not change it for the world.

Re: Let's see your bags

If only it was just one, have 4 camera transporting devices and they range from a smart aluminium case that I only use when I have someone with me to carry it one something like yours with it's own mac attached, then I have a small one that will take one body with a telephoto lens attached and one for the compact. Apart from the above that I use still I have a very old one that has a plastic type finish that is peeling off and 3 tripod cases that I only use in the house, the covers that is not the tripods.

If I get a moment today I will take their portraits

Re: Let's see your bags

Nice bag Steve - I had a Billingham bag once upon a time before I really got into photography. Unfortunately I started using it as an over the shoulder fishing bag for when I was spinning. I think I threw it out a couple of years ago when it started to walk on its own but it made a great tackle bag.
Kit 1

Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM

Re: Let's see your bags

Here's mine. It's a rucksack type bag.

It's a bit slower getting things in and out of but I opted for one of these so I can use my hands when I'm scrambling up mountains.

It's not so big that it breaks my back but It's big enough for a big DSLR with a good size zoom attached, 3 or 4 extra lenses plus sections & pouches for other gear, gloves and trusty bobble hat !

The back is good too as it's moulded so you don't too sweaty. The chest strap is another plus point as it prevents the shoulder straps from slipping.

Most of the time if I'm just going for a wee stroll I use a holster bag.

Kit 1
Canon 1D Mark 3
Canon EF 17-40mm f/4 L USM
Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM
Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II
Kit 2

Re: Let's see your bags

I've got 3, a Crumpler 5 million dollar home which was a birthday present from gran(she brought it back from aus/nz), a Lowepro SlingShot 100 AW which my uncle gave me as he got a new one when updating his kit(and is giving me a couple other things too) and a Fujifilm Finepix S9500 / S6500fd Soft Case which I got with my Fuji.

The crumpler can hold two of the cameras with lens attached and my 28-80mm lens or one camera and 2-3 lenses, the lowepro can hold one camera lens attached with a 2-3 other lenses both have ample space for cards/filters etc and the fuji can hold the fuji or the 400d (300d too big for it) and has a pocket for cards or battery's on the outside.

Will add some pics in the morning, Going to watch a dvd just now
