BC, I have always found your comments fair and honest. I think you are the Simon Cowell of Yop!
I have never seen any comments from you that are unjustified. We need someone knowledgeable who is able to C&C otherwise it will just all become nicey nicey and there will be no way beginners like me will be able to improve.
If people don't want C&C there are areas of the site where they can post.
There will be a big hole left in YoP if you step away.

Blimey, have I got to wear my trousers up to my chest!

Thanks for the support and of course I am sure there are one or two glad I am reflecting ... but you are a lovely bunch of folks, I am grateful and feel priviliged to be a part of the site.

I just think it's great to see people taking on board the comments, makes me feel good to see people stretching themselves and trying to do the best they can from an image. The social aspect here is also incrediably valuable so folks, enjoy what we do at the level that you enjoy. Best wishes everyone.

Re: A bee, see?

We must take lead from the OP. If they haven't selected the C&C icon, then you should know they're not looking for C&C. And while opinions are generally fine - don't be too critical or start offering a critique when it's clear that's not what they want.

We can't 'force' people to do this that or the other - we have to make them 'want' to.

However I will say that very often it is down to tact, we could quite easily slip in a critique without it even sounding like one - ways and means

With regards to this thread - I think your comments were fine BC, it wasn't a full on critique, more a helpful note.

And finally.. yes YoP is different - something I think we should all be proud of. I think we're back to our original vision, and that is what is going to make us stand out from the crowd and hopefully, be key to our success.
