I quite like this although the focal depth is a little shallow, it works for me.

Yes I focused on the eye nearest the camera, which is sharp. but.depth of field was too narrow so the other eye is not sharp. I just like the cats beautiful colour. Also this image is not cropped, its original size. I was very close using a 105mm macro lens.
