Lol why did he buy now tho? He's mad cos when the D400 comes out it will be reduced in price - they are selling for more now than what I paid for it last year!
I'm sure he will be very happy tho, they are amazing cameras and I miss mine loads!

I think the D300 should last him quite a while now, the performance on them is just awesome

There are some strong rumours that Jessops will not be very long out of receivership so I expect the chances are that they may not even stock the new camera or worse not be around when it comes out.
Could be nonsense, of course, but they have started reducing stock and closing some of their shops they also seem to have got rid of any knowledgeable staff or they have decided to go now and preserve their reputations.
