Re: Soaked!!!

I like it too.

Seems everybody is going for 10 stop ND filter long exposures these days so it's quite refreshing.

The wide angle gives an interesting view of the foreground which is interesting enough to be the main focal point of the pic.

What is the ground made of by the way ?

Can't decide if its stones on sand or some sort of pebble imbedded rock ?

Re: Soaked!!!

That is an interesting shot and it is a pleasant change - personally I would have liked you to get a bit closer and moved the horizon down a bit, not too far but to about 1/3 On the other hand waterproof or no you do worry about the salt sort of wet.

It looks so much better at the larger size and I would urge viewers to click to see it larger, there is loads of movement there.

Re: Soaked!!!

Thanks for the comments.

Sky was a little drab so I included as little as possible, it's been assisted with some work. I couldn't have got any closer! Was 14mm on a full frame, my feet are only just out of the frame!

Re: Soaked!!!

Ah, well, if you go improving the sky there is little wonder that we want to see more of it. Well done anyway you have taken an image that I wish to keep re-visiting and it is OH, so much better in the larger size.
