video lighting

Just ordered one of these for my camcorder and cameras, Why? Well the camcorder is useless at night for video work its only good for flash photography when shooting stills.

So any member doing evening/indoors/night video with their DSLR using the video feature may be interested. Bought it off that big AMZN site

Re: video lighting

Just got the video light and it is powerful. There are plenty of postings about it on youtube so no real need for me to do the same.

This is the complete rig

Sennheiser HD215 over ear headphones
Sennheiser MK400 microphone
Mike support bracket (to attach to camera)
CN160 video light
Panasonic HC-X900M camcorder
49mm uv filter
Velbon C400 tripod with fluid head
+ memory card of course

Decided on the filter as there are built in lens shutters on this camera an it would be near impossible to remove any contaminates that got behind them let alone scratch the lens

Too bright to shine direct at the camera and bit out of focus but it gives some idea of how bright the light is.

All I can add is if your using a camera for video work get this product
