Sudden Lighting

It's a *boding* month. It bodes well for interesting light. It bodes badly for weather. Or goodly, I'm never sure. Poor for transport infrastructure, but superb for photos.

I caught two by surprise today. I don't usually have my camera *with* me, although it is in the car ready. However:




I love the way the light almost removes all the detail, leaving tantalising hints of what may or may not be there. The foreground is almost irrelevant except as a black setting to show off the light.

Very nice sky - the first would have to be my favourite with those rays beaming down.

Where is the 2nd one ?

The second is looking on Coventry and the M6 motorway from the centre of the city
