Binley Woods Wandering

I went for a wander this morning, mainly to take my mind of the ache in my shoulder since the camera was shoved in it yesterday...
I tried to find dragonflies, I really want to photograph some dragonflies. I saw in total two, heading away from me at speed...next time.

So a fairly poor haul to be honest-all taken with the 70-300 Tamron lens...I'm a little disappointed by the very noticeable colour fringing in high contrast areas such as the water boatman...

Re: Binley Woods Wandering

Was Dragonfly hunting myself recently, but the weather seems to have had an effect on the numbers. Like the first Speckled wood butterfly, there were loads of Meadow browns out but too flighty for me to catch.

Re: Binley Woods Wandering

Poo! A downside to the fun of yesterdays photography is that my right hand is COVERED in midge/mosquito bites today and itching like the very devil. Nobody mentioned this in the job description!
