Looking for a lens...
Hi, I would like a lens with a great zoom .. and one that does great pictures 
well anyway, I would like a good zoom and I will work on the rest. Does anyone have an idea of which lens i need please? I don't know !! Of coarse, I will need to save for it, so the cheaper the better

Do canon do a 55-200 with IS?
Nikon do one at £140 ish so I guess Canon have a similar model?

For everything really, I would like to take pictures of the dogs from a distant and also of the area I live ect ... It doesn't have to zoom for miles. The fuji S9600 had a great zoom !! But was not very good at taking pictures. So I would like to keep the quality Canon provides but at a distant. I hope I am making sense !!

there's another one thats a bit cheaper with more zoom power

however, if its anything like my nikon 70-300mm its probably too slow for action shots of your dogs... but great for wildlife slow moving stuff. Although i have had a few good bird of prey shots with mine...
