Offering something "different"

Iv been thinking ver the past few weeks about offering soemthing different when it comes to pet portraits (studio)

I was wondering about a trademark style so to speak. Taking more fun type shots with a bold and bright background as aposed to the traaditional "Old Masters" or High key, Such as bright yellows, purples, pink, blues, greens ect ect.

Do you think people would go for this or do they perfer more subtle?????

I'd love to see some examples too!

Re: Offering something "different"

Obviously it's down to the client but for me I think it depends.

For dogs - I would think people would like to have an image that encapsulates the breed and that would include the background. Gundogs for example would in my view be more suited to natural couloured surroundings whilst Toy breeds may lend themselves to more vibrant colours.

Cat's, rabbits etc - then certainly the coloured thing would be worth a shot !
