Do you know any dog/pet photographers?

Hey Guys,

I'm currently working on a new site, a Dog Breed Profile site where we are going to extract the dog breed profiles from Dogsey and put them into a dedicated site

So I am on the lookout for quality photos to be included in breed profiles and wondered if you have spotted any on your journeys anywhere? Are there Flickr groups that you know of where you might be able to ask for me? (If possible I am looking for really good shots - I know you'll be able to spot them )

It will be a dedicated breed profile site, and an example of the profiles we are extracting can be see here: http://www.dogsey.com/boxer.htm scroll to bottom for more photos (the photos will be larger on the new site).

Do wished i had photographed my dogs when i kept them. (Lhasa Apso, and Hungarian Puli), im sure someone must know a site.

You could try Les Denman used to be DW and OD photographer. www.denmanphoto.com I think his site is.

Really interested in this - I can put up a thing on FB as I have a number of show friends, and one of them is the photographer for ShowDogsIreland, and he photographs winners at most of the shows. I do some myself too, and have a few interesting breed profile/show shots, if you're interested in those

I forgot to say, I'm mostly interested in photos that people have taken of their own dogs (or photos that people have had taken of their own dogs) - you know, those who would *love* to see their dog represent their breed on such a site

There are lots of great photos on stock photography websites, but it loses the personal feel when you use those imo - I want people to feel like they (or their dogs) are part of the breed profiles (like how we have it on Dogsey at the mo).

It would help if you mentioned what kind of shots you want, ie head-side- three quarters on- free standing- on a lead-indoors-outdoors-action or still-working.

I see how you mean Azz will refrain from asking my friend then - however, would I be OK to submit some of the fabulous show dogs I've come to know and love over the years? I took the photos, but the dogs belong to others. I can also submit stuff for Japanese Shiba Inu!
