Are they cadets? They look a bit too young to be handling guns!

yes they are cadets,the lads and lasses that are lcpl upwards have all passed their skill at arms test,which means they are compitant in handling and cleening the weapons which they are carrying,i think they are sa80's,they have been properly decomissioned and firing pins taken out and the barrels blocked so they are only for drill purpose,my son is a top cadet shot of his unit,with a 22 rifle,they were all smart and slick with there marching and ranking,i stayed up till gone 12 saturday night bulling his boots for him as he was out all day saturday selling poppy's for the british legeon,,,i told him being in the cadet's would keep him of the street's,and a bigger surprise is that if he is still in the cadet's next year he will be able to wear my GRANDADS medals on parade,
