I was in the right place at the right time...
I took pictures of this doe last Friday with her last year's twin does...remarked at the time that she would soon have a fawn...Sunday I saw her with her brand new baby! First morning for it...still wobbly...Mom knew I was there looking through some bushes along the road...but she stayed put , albeit nervious but babe was not ready to run away just yet..
Sun was just coming up over the tall trees behind her...Shirley

Always nice to encounter something like this Shirley, magical moments, good you had your camera with you. Ive missed so many over the years because my camera was in the bag, car, or back home.
