Another vote for the B&W

I do like the depth of colour in the sky and clouds on the colour shot but the B&W is cropped differently so has more detail to draw the eye and gives the sky a more dramatic edge yet retains the impact of the shadows, to me anyway, sorry if that sounds garbled, I do have trouble expressing what I like in photos like that one cos its more about the `feel` of it than something I can put in words really [ does that make sense to anyone but me ]

I think both are wonderful! Really lovely - and I can't choose between them, but I do think the colours in no. 1 are very striking.

Well spotted and well shot, think the second has more impact I am not sure if it is the conversion or the crop. Bests not to wonder but just to enjoy.
