Re: Mr Casual

Its hard to critique stuff thats so good....

However, throwing myself in....I really don't know much...but I do feel the background is a bit dark for his hair. You loose the top of his head a bit (maybe its just my PC). My eye is drawn upwards for some reason.

Re: Mr Casual

KK I can not do them...........

But, I do like it He always looks cheekyIt is a really nice shot of Luke.

For some reason my eyes keep going above Lukes head though, and drawn onto the hedge? It could be just me

That, is as much, as you are getting, out of me.

Re: Mr Casual

LOL Thanks MS! With practice you will get the hang of them

Tassle, thanks for the imput On my monitor his head is quite well difined from the background, so there may be a calibration issue here???

interesting to see you both agree that you a being drawn up the photo to the background? Any reasons why??

Re: Mr Casual

See, Clairelou put it soo much better Too much hedge above his head! Nothing wrong with the shot of Luke, it is nice and relaxed , and really great, just too much hedge

Re: Mr Casual

Playing about with differnt angles I think it is the background in general not just the hedge. Maybe if it was a bit more blurred (but then you would probably loose the natural feel..)....I think the pattern in the leaves distracts from the subject. Even cropping the top off I am still distracted by the leaves. Maybe a different background would work.
This is making my head hurt!!
