That's how I feel - I'd rather buy here in the UK to get official UK stuff, then even if the shop goes bust you can still get in touch with the Official Distributors.

I think it's fake too. Reason being, if they split the 5D lineup to two bodies, then the 7D would have to surely be the lower spec to the (alleged) 3D?

Canon really messed up their numbering buy going up with the 10/20/30 etc while still going down in ranges to the 1D.

I guess it is feasible that they could bring out a 6D and a 7D with the 7 being better.

The announcement is confirmed on a Swedish site as well.

The price should be around £2000. Looks quite exciting already, I wonder what other specs will be revealed next week
