Lucky Shots

Here are a couple of lucky shots i got of fern one of my girls at the beach,i havent got a clue how i got the first one,both taken with kodak Z740 second photo i cropped but i think i took to much of it when doing this

I love the first one The 2nd would like to have seen more space infront of the dog as it looks like at the moment it is escaping the picture LOL but as you said lucky shots

I'm with Sam on the use of forward space. For any moving object it is usually better to include the space at the front of the subject for it to run into. Nevertheless, youve managed a crisp action shot, well done.

The first image was much easier - you stood still and kept you focus on the dogs nose, and the dog did the rest!!!

Does your camera have face recognition on it?
