These are nice Richard, very well composed and arty. How you getting along with that 300 f4 lens. Its been on my wish list for a while now. Thought i might couple it with a teleconverter to get in closer for birds and wildlife. I never seem to get a long enough reach with my 70-300 zoom.

Love the 300mm/F4 lens. I leave the 1.4x T/C on all the time. Sharp and quick to focus. Best in good light.

Taken today with the lens, but bird close.

I do love the light at this time of year, it's like a gift to make up for the fact that the cold is making every extremity fall off, freeze up or leak...
