Re: Photography courses

Hi guys,

Just wanted to give you a quick update as promised. I started the course and the Tutors are brilliant. At the moment I am doing the Foundation in Photography which is really engaging. The tutors really do give good feedback and encorage me a lot to. I got 87% on my first assignment which I am happy with. I think I may go on to complete the Diploma, once I have this certificate first. They also do one day workshop and seminars which I'll be booking on to hopefully. If I am good enough, hopefully they'll choose me to feature in their magazine as I have seen some past students in there before.

Fingers crossed!

Otta,

Thank you so much for this. I'd love to show you some of my work.

Re: Photography courses

I purchased a home course that you send in your homework to the school and they email you a video of their comments and you get your grade in additional to the comments back via mail. Personally the study materials were really dated materials and it was very evident. I was bored (for lack of a better word) or maybe even un-inspired by the dated materials so I haven't completed it. I learned quite a bit but I just couldn't get past how much all of the materials were pictured of the 70's. Sure, they would send "updates" with the lessons but still not very inspiring. It's been 2 years now and I have the complete course materials but haven't touched it. I could have spent my $875 on something else! I read ALOT.... photo blogs, forums, and so forth with what people are doing in the current times.
