I'm told these are the young of the orb spider

Although, at the time I didn't want to wake mum and ask! lol

Like this shot Dave, good detail and colour. I've seen these before, they can really move when disturbed.

You do realise Dave that you just sent shivers down half the YOP forum members backs

Tell you the truth, they did mine!

And I sure as hell wasn't going in too close, just in case I'd discovered the web of the first funnel web in the uk

I thought they were wasps too..yellow and black!

I can see the attraction..she says reaching for the jungle spray.

I can't explain a phobia, I just have one. I had a spider drop on me from the ceiling as I lay in bed one day. I saw it coming and couldn't get out of the way fast enough. My wife said I looked like a piece of bacon on a hot griddle writhing as I tried to find that little thing. She said it was hilarious.
