Hehe! Aww he's a sweet looking fella - and well fed 
I'm not a big fan of feeders in photos - and the blown highlights spoil a little. Try getting on the same level as your subject - can make for a really striking photo that catches the eye, more than looking down on them!

I like the first one in particular Tony, he is a fat, sleek little guy!
Is a pity about the slight blur and the overexposed flank - although I always find it difficult to get the exposure right when the subject is partly in the shade and partly in direct sunlight, particularly with a dark background like you had here.
Did you take these with the 350D and the 70-300? I think your shutter speed may have been a bit too slow to freeze him completely if he was moving. A faster shutter speed would also have helped the overexposed bit. Can you remember what your settings were?

Hmm - I would up the ISO a bit perhaps. The shutter could do with firing a bit faster alright. You were shooting handheld? A tripod, or even a monopod - or resting on a ledge could help a lot here too
