Re: Composition

Nice perspective on one, the "rules" are nicley applied here - Your points ion interest are slightly off on #2 as the duck is looking out of the frame, rather than inwards, but you have still demonstrated an understanding

Re: Composition

Thanks Would it be better if it was looking directly at the camera? Would that be 'inwards'?

Re: Composition

Inwards means (looking) to the middle of the frame

Re: Composition

Moving to below eyeline and rule of 3rds

Blurring background to bring focus onto flower and framing with the leaves.

Again Blurring back and foreground to bring butterfly into focus. Just a shame about the leaf in front, but they weren't being co-operative again!!

Re: Composition

Nice Azz, have not done mine yet and not sure I should now

like no 3 but do not think that is a true sun behind subject shot I suspect a tad of editing there.

If 1 had been an angler I may have been opening my wallet, OH would have loved that

Re: Composition

Thanks All

No editing in that pic Snapper

I just positioned myself so the sun was behind Rocky, and didn't use a flash
