im sooooooooooooooooooooooooo jealous of your white backgrounds.

do u just point the lamps/lights at the wall?

Oh dont be! I spend almost every day practicing with it!

I use white bed sheets at the moment ( i do have a backdrop and stand, but cant use them for another 3 months, due to them being sent to me in error) Just point 2 lights at the backdrop (one on each side) and use my flash as a fill light for the the subject...

im gonna give it a serious go soon.

oh and your backdrop story when they are finally yours legally you should have a party.

sometimes buying on line is a nightmare

can you use normal lamps ? and i ask my OH to build me a lightbox but not sure what kind of bulb wattage it need ?hope you know what i mean

Yeah course you can - all my shots up untill today, were taken with lamps - actually my SAD therapy light came in very useful!!

Wattage can be whatever your happy working with - to lower the output from them, move the light further away fro the subject

Mine are 45w each....
