Re: Female of the 40's

I really like that BC. The only thing I'd be tempted to do is mute the colours in the brick work a little.

Re: Female of the 40's

Hmm, not too sure about this one - I like the expression you've caught, and the whole feel of the photo - but I'm not too sure about the colours. Could be just me though, we've been over this before, my monitor is not so good!

Lovely expression though, really nice!

Re: Female of the 40's

There is a slight colour treatment to give it a slight cinematic warmer feel to her face. To me looks fine, slightly warm tone.

This does of course (again) make us realise that what we are all seeing on the monitor so much depends on the authors monitor quality and settings and that of our own so we don't always see the same colours or the same size.

Re: Female of the 40's

I really like this one BC

Love how her face is illuminated. That combined with the way she's smiling and gazing out of the frame kind of detatches her from the sombre mood. It's almost like she's seeing something uplifting that that nobody else can see and it makes you wonder what it is.

Can someone explain please re the colour? I am looking on my monitor (which is meant to be calibrated) and it looks fine?? It isn't that far from natural... I am confused??

Re: Female of the 40's

Colour looks ok to me.

The lippy is shockingly bright but I asumed that was 'of the era'
