Does anybody know where I can get an adapter

I've got some lenses off my old Pentax, alas, they're 42mm screw fit, I have an adapter for my old Canon 500N 35mm film cam and they do fit it but can't get one for the DSLR's.
This lens is a cracker, it's a 400mm f:6.3 - 32 fixed focal length, the filter size is 72mm but it aint too heavy, it's 15 inches long overall. I also have a f:2.8 wide angle, shame I can't use them.

Re: Does anybody know where I can get an adapter

Thanks for trying K, the ring adapter for the Canon 500N is the same as for the DSLR's only slightly smaller, it's a shame, cos the two lenses are quite good, I would'nt get any auto functions like focus/aperture but all you do is go on manual like I did with the 500N, also, I could capture a lot of slides with the slide converter I have.

Re: Does anybody know where I can get an adapter

I'm guessing that in the land of todays photographic business - the demand for this adaptor would probably be fairly low (maybe in the hundred odd range rather than the thousands) so wouldn't be cost effective to make cheaply and bring it to the mass market? It's a shame - but a lot of old classic kit is slowly becoming redundant because of a lack of cross over compatibility...
