Re: Aira Force

I'm sorry to say, this one is a step to far for my taste Ste. Having said that I would love to see the more normal PP'd version, because I love the rest of the scene and light, it's just the water fall looks weird.

Sorry Ste, just my own opinion

Re: Aira Force

Can't please everyone ken. But it's not the processing, the water is like that as its a long exposure. Around 2 minutes, there is no other version!!

Re: Aira Force

Thanks for the explanation Ste, in that case I would have love to have seen a fast shutter speed of the same shot , there are so many elements in your comp that I love... Autumn sun light, scattered leaves of all colours (like confetti) and that lovely old stone bridge just tops it all of beautifully.

Re: Aira Force

thats a great shot as i have shot this fall and found it quite cramped , damp and dingy , also not much light at the base . so well done.

Re: Aira Force

I love the shot really - but think the water blur is a tad too much for my tastes too - but it really is a taste thing - technically it's an excellent shot. Love the colour and the detail on the rocks too

Re: Aira Force

Thanks for the comments

The extreme blur was forced by the light, as robbie says there is none!

This falls has a lot of spray and it means the flow looses a little texture in the long exposure stuff.
