Grrr! Fed up!

I took what I thought would be a great shot this evening, a single boat moored to the side of a lake, sun going down, the water glowing, took three shots to be safe, the composition was really good, and every single one of them is slightly out of focus the annoying thing is it looked fine when I checked on the camera, but on the monitor you can see it is just slightly out of focus!

Very annoyed, as when I took it, I thought yep, that is going to be a good one

Some others have come out okay though also only took my camera, no extra lenses, and guess what, hundreds of geese, all flying off in formation, and they are black specks in the skyas I had my 14 - 42 mm on the camera.

Better luck next time I suppose.

Re: Grrr! Fed up!

I know, but the light won't be the same it really was gorgeous, everything seemed to have a lovely glow The water was almost bronze in colour. Just disappointed, as I thought they would be really good, until I uploaded them Oh well xx

Re: Grrr! Fed up!

LOL Clairelou, I will have to share one of my geese pics later, bring a magnifying glass, huge flock of birds, and they look like a swarm of flies

It was a spur of the moment decision to go to the lake, so just grabbed my camera, and didn't think really about lenses.

Re: Grrr! Fed up!

Its always the way, not got the camera- wrong lens-bad light-flat battery- missed shot etc etc. Oh the joys of photography.
