Perhaps because you're wishful thinking, Mr Azz Rumour monger!!

(although I don't suppose you are far off the mark - Unless any new model is a quantum leap in technology, personally I'm trying to think of any stop gaps between models where the market gap needs filling - as with the difference between the 'keenly' anticipated D5000 and the D90 amount to a swiveling screen - whoopee do!)

Why do they keep churning out these cameras that seem to not have anything much different than their predecessor , Oh, because they are greedy, and know that some people are suckers for the latest thing, and it means they can charge more for what is essentially the same camera with a swivel LCD

Sorry, for my rant I am getting so peed off with the prices of cameras, I really want a new one

I want a new camera too - think FF is going to have to wait another year or two as the prices have just gone silly £1500 was the max I wanted to pay but was hoping they'd drop further! Poxy exchange rates!

It is crazy no one is going to pay more for a body, than what it costs six months ago I keep hoping the D300 will drop, but as I really want camera to take up to the mountains in the summer, I will have to look at other cameras.
