Mr Chaffinch

Despite being one our most common visitors to the garden - for whatever reason our Chaffinches simply don't come to the feeders whenever I've got the camera out regardless of how long I wait.

Anyway - this guy must have been daydreaming as I just caught him before he cleared off.

Nice shots

funny how some birds can be your 'bogey'. Herons are mine - I swear they are taking the mickey. Whenever I'm out with the dogs and no camera, they are out in abundance - flying low past me or fishing on the river bank. Take my camera with me and they go into hiding
