Re: Post a Pic: Long exposure

Wow, stunning pictures! I love the waterfall one best I think. I've got some long exposure ones to post finally after non, only beginner level, nothing like these, but good for comparison I guess!

How did you get the pictures where someone is there but only as a ghost, if they moved surely there would be blur?!

Re: Post a Pic: Long exposure

The shutter speed looks a little too fast, this looks like it's been caused by the bright sunlight, try again on over cast day?

Re: Post a Pic: Long exposure

It's nice BG

As Karl says tho, if you want the real creamy look you need to go for a longer shutter speed - so depends on what you want really

Re: Post a Pic: Long exposure

Gorgeous bridge shot! Love the colours...how late at night was it?

Thanks for comments on my waterfall picture, I couldn't have it any longer as it was too sunny and it would have blown out. I only rarely find waterfalls, so have to go with what I've got, ha ha.

Another offering...this is 8 seconds of bumpy exposure on the motorway, not sure of the other settings, it was shutter priority.

It's not perfect straight lines, but I like the uniqueness of it
