Gaz

What can I say about this . Well to start with I will let you in to a little secret , but don't tell anyone else , I am on morphine at the moment for a trapped nerve so everything is amplified and colourful .

So your photo is mind blowing .

Well done for getting out there .

Thanks for the help

This was taken with a Sony A57 and a 300mm Tamron lens, neither of which are exactly shrinking violets. I just used the movable rear screen and tried to look as if I was adjusting something rather than taking the shot It probably helps that with a fixed mirror then DSLT is a lot quieter than other mirror-lens cameras.

And I did mention that I used a telephoto? I too am a bit nervous, but the shot was there to be taken, and I couldn't resist

Thanks for all the kind comments.
