Tree or plant???

Anyone got any idea what this is?

It's a great picture, lovely when was it taken, spring or just recently, how big was it, both the plant/tree and the cluster in the pic and what sort of situation was it growing in. 20 questions over
and was it growing on soft or hard wood

It was taken yesterday in a cemetary in Glasgow. It is about 1 inch in size and there are loads of them all over. It is covering a walll so will have a good look to see if its a tree or a plant like ivy.
