Siskins and Long Tailed Tits

I'm sure I'm not the only one frustrated by lack of daylight at the moment - wishing for better ISO to enable higher shutter speeds.

Anyway - some 'still' birds obliged (whilst after Bullfinches) in the garden using 40D / 100-400

Re: Siskins and Long Tailed Tits

Hey Phil, nice series as usual. You may have struggled with the light but it doesn't show.

I adore the little Long Tailed Tit's, I wish we had those visit our garden. Looking at their side profile, you wouldn't think they could fly, with their little round bodies

Re: Siskins and Long Tailed Tits

yes have to agree Phil, most days been dull and myself like you have had to crank up ISO to get anything half decent. Your images have turned out well, as usual Bird Photography definitely your forte whereas i am still learning, perfectly exposed bird images done by me a few and far between, mixture of bad light and my bad photography i think
