Re: stuff on my photo's

It looks as though you still have dust on the sensor - I personally would send it back to the manufacturer (or an autorised cleaner) to have it professionally cleaned

Re: stuff on my photo's

I have a puffer brush, It's made of squirrell hair, very fine and soft, don't know if you can still get them.

This is one of the reasons I don't like changing lenses in the field, It's very easy to get dust into the internals, I was going to sell my old 350D but have changed my mind, I'll keep it with another lens mounted and It'll save changing lenses on my new cam.

Re: stuff on my photo's

Its on your mirror phil. I have the exact same problem with my D50. I thought it was the sensor at first because no matter how much cleeaning i did, nothing shifted it! I spent 1 hour on the mirror in specific last week and also bought some compressed air to give the whole chamber a blow out and its helped alot.

Re: stuff on my photo's

Checked the mirror because that would make sense as the mirror is always locked away out of view when I've been looking for bits on the sensor.

Cleaned the mirror and had a go but the marks were still there.

Looked at the sensor again (under better light) and sure enough it had some bits on.

Anyway a bit of blowing and a very delicate bit of DIY and it's fine again now.

I was really starting to get fed up with the clone tool LOL
