On some cameras it is set to view photos automatically once you take a pic

Never heard of that expression but I guess it depends what I'm photographing.

If it's the dogs messing about or a kids party I'll probably just shoot things as they happen and go through them all at the end.

Something like landscapes where I photographing a particular place or view - I'll check them as I take them as there's nothing worse than looking at your pictures after you've left the scene only to discover that they're all naff.

Quite a bit, especially if I've gone somewhere out of the norm and not likely to get back there again, or the subject is unusuall, but just local or in the garden I wait untill I put them on the pc

chimping is a well known phrase.

I chimp all the time, I delete a lot of shots in camera to reduce the processing time.

Yeah a common phrase in these here parts too, I chimp at every chance combined with checking the histogram means you get home with a higher proportion of keepers.

I never knew it was called that! I do it all the time to save space on the disc so as I can take more pictures and before I load them on comp to save time and space there too!

I check after every picture, but it takes a few seconds for my camera to be ready to take the next shot after it shows me the still its just taken, [ it does that automatically anyway ], so I might as well look at it until I can take the next shot
