Blimey he's the spit of you Jonni!

Putting a sepia tone on that would give it a Bugsy Malone look (the hairstyle sortof reminds me of it)

Re: Ethan

Superb lighting Jonni, you have got the mix of light strengths spot on. I can't make my mind up about the head crop though. It's so wonderful that your whole family engage in your passion for photography.

Another great shot.

Re: Ethan

Cheers Ken, I agree about the crop. A guy once told me if your going to crop the head then make it obvious that it was meant rather than just taking the tip of it off like I did here.
It's the only expression I liked and when I try to crop it another way he looks squashed in if you know what I mean.

I do like to photograph my own children, but have you ever seen a grown man on his knees begging for them to have there picture taken .

Re: Ethan

Would like to see the same photo with a different backdrop to see what difference it would make. Also without the top of his hair cut off the photo.

As always I try to give an honest opinion ( Sometimes not liked I admit).

Re: Ethan

Thanks Bazza, yeah as said it was the only expression I liked and it was cropped in camera. The BG is part of the style with this image and other shots I am doing which I shall put on here today when I get time.
They are part of a more natural and softer look I am working on
