Bad bend

Snapped this one with my new compact on the way out of the paper shop this morning.

I've not tried any of the settings or manual mode yet as my fingers were frozen.

Found it, saw this yesterday and when I returned to make comment I could not find it.

Phil I love this is seems to evoke so much of what is best about the winter, the ever changing scene and the hope of even more beauty to come. Think you and the camera have done it justice and I love the position you chose to take it from, hope it was safe

Well spotted Jack. No the camera has't got a ND. I was really just messing about with a B&W conversion. The sky was burned out white so I just dragged the burn tool along the top of the frame. A bit crude really.

It was taken from the pavement by the doorway of the village shop - quite safe

for a "snap" this is excellent! would have thought it was taken on an slr not a compact!

I like that a lot love the way the lines lea you aroun the bend Was it taken through a car window? I ask because I get that dark line at the top when I take shots through our car window
