Re: Still or Fizzy?

Steven, do you find this lens a good all round lens? do you use it a lot?

I am getting a Nikon, and trying to decide on a good general photography lens, I have my Portrait lens sorted, I think i know what I want for a Landscape lens, but I would like a decent walking around lens.

Thanks xx

Re: Still or Fizzy?

Thanks for the comments

MS it is a cracking walk-around lens, it gives great flexibility with the focal lengths that it covers. It is plenty sharp enough, printed 18"x12" from it no problems. The only drawback is its f/5.6 at 200mm but the VR makes up for the loss of shutter speed in lower light. Not unusual to get sharp shots at 1/60th and 200mm.
