Who,s selling their images ?
I was just wondering if many of us who have images on various websites are actually selling any of our images, I have 3 awaiting a decision on picture nation still and was curious as to who is doing well etc.

I am on a couple of sites, haven't sold anything yet though. Once my website is finished setting up i will be selling some work on there too.

1 sale after 2 years on Shutterpoint...not very good...I could do with trying to sell my images through my own site, I should get round to setting up my own site really.

I sale on Picture Nation for me ..mind you £30 isn't a bad price I suppose especially as I retain copyright

Have any of you tried these sites:

www.bigstockphoto.com
On the commercial side I use istockphoto quite a lot as a customer and some images get downloaded literally hundreds of times. The payments aren't much individually but they soon mount up and some photographers earn quite a lot on a 'passive income' basis once they have uploaded tons of their images.
Do any of you think the ability to sell stuff would be a good facility to add to Picfolio? It is working fine for up to 10 megs now.

Hi Nick, no I havent tried either of those yet but will maybe give em a go after christmas, and regarding selling images on your site, I would be more surprised if you didnt offer that facility judging by the quality of some of the images on the site. How would you do it though ?
