Re: A moment to imagine

well...I would like 2 of these, one for me and one for someone dear to me

http://www.photographyblog.com/revie...00_review/..so that's £2000.

I want a Canon 40D for myself...nothing bigger or heavier until I am a lot more post surgical...and knowledgable.

So..I would spend the rest on the views.. a wee cottage in Sutherland..Achmelvich say, and enough space for a half way decent studio and move there with my man and a cat..

Am not greedy.

Re: A moment to imagine

Goodness.......£5million.

I would be looking at Nikon stuff. I have no real thoughts on another camera I only have a Nikon d40x but it suits me fine.

I feel the photographer is the photomaker not really the camera.

Re: A moment to imagine

That sounds good Daisy. The X100 is a fine camera by the looks!

Re: A moment to imagine

Yes Jols, you're right, but sometimes a step up in kit gives the flagging togger some new impetus....

Re: A moment to imagine

I think the operator is more important than the machine.

Re: A moment to imagine

Must admit, I had an idea, if i won, to buy a motorhome, go to skye, buy a croft and renovate it. Make more room, storage space for the long winters and a studio. We could live in the motor home whilst the work was being done

Re: A moment to imagine

I see 2 issues of planning permision here.

The croft expansion will be easy... compared to convincing the wife about the motor home. lol
