cleaning your bits!

So guys and gals how often do you clean your camera equipment?

I have not cleaned mine since nov 2010 bad bad person.

So yesterday I started a clean and yes the lens were dirty on close inspection and the whole job only took half an hour. Going to do some shooting after lunch and see what the difference is.

So come tell me when you last did the ''deep clean''?

Re: cleaning your bits!

I have actually never had the need to clean my camera. When it gets dusty I just buy a new one. LOL

Really, I mainly clean the filters on the lenses when I notice them dirty. I had to clean both the UV & Polarizer on my 18-200mm zoom the other day. I deep a deep clean with lens cleaning fluid & a micro-cloth. It's the first time just a light brushing wouldn't handle it.
