Nice shots Tullika - my faves are the first and last ones

Here's some c&c on the others:

2. It feels a tiny bit squashed - think the palm of the left hand would have been better it little lower perhaps, or give the whole image a bit more room (if it's a crop).

3. Think the baby's elbow in the frame would have been nice

4 + 5 like them as they are

I love babies in baskets but I personally think this one is a bit 'normal' . I would be looking for an interesting pail or something antique,

1. Gorgeous capture. Lovely hat. Nice exposure and great catchlights.
Not sure about the crop. I would maybe loose some top and bottom and experiment with having baby less central.

2. A lovely moment. I think the image would be stronger if baby's face wasn't so blocked by the lower hand.
Lovely lighting and catchlights again.

3. Beautiful. Wouldn't change a thing. The missing elbow doesn't bother me at all.

4. Not keen on this one. No connection with the baby and the (rather plain) basket overwhelms the picture.

5. Not a fan of this one either. All I see is a big white rectangle. I hardly see the cute baby.

6. Gorgeous. Lovely sharp eyes, nice exposure.

How old is the baby? I have been asked to do a 4 month old at the weekend and I'm terrified! So far I have only done teeny tiny newborns! Older babies have to be way tougher.

Little me, this is a five and a half months old baby.

Really like 1, 3 and the last one, the others it's nearly all basket and nt so much of the baby. Not bad though I must say.

I'm not really qualified to say but for me.......

1 - I really like - both photography wise and content wise. Baby seems a bit in the middle but that doesn't detract and can be changed.

2 - I'd be chuffed it was my pic but not so sure - I like the eye but baby, rug and and hands are all a bit grey and the nostrils kind of stand out.

3 - I really like this one. Such a shame that there's no eye contact. That would have made it for me but that's a timing thing I guess.

4 - I like it. I'm a big fan of pics where any baby or child is just doing their own thing - a portrait crop might be another option but the shot is there already to play with.

5 - Again really nice - plenty of tighter crops to explore.

6 - I'm not keen on the pose and the reflection in the eyes seems strange. What is fantastic is the exposure - hat, skin tones, eyes - all spot on.

Hope I've been fair - much better than I can do..

Really love the third,think it's the best shot, great interaction captured.

No 1 Come in closer, and have the baby off centre, but really great exposure.

No2 Wish you see more of the babies face,less of Mum's hand,but nice mono conversion

No3 Really like a lot, really well done

No4 I'm not sure about

No5 baby looks a little lost, crop it closer, and I think it's lovely, it's just the basket is a bit overpowering.

No6 Is gorgeous, beautiful mono, and the eyes are tack sharp.
