Moonstone - with regards to prey drive (yes I saw it before you edited it, was just having some puppy cuddles before I came back to reply You certainly weren't waffling!) - my girl has a very high prey drive but my boy not so much, it really does depend on the individual dog. I know one Mal who happily accepts any small furry (although this isn't the norm ).

We do own a Cat and a HamsterIt took quite a while to get him to stop chasing her, he does now leave her alone, but I would never leave them alone together.As for the hamster, let's just say when he comes out of the cage, mack is behind a dog gate and a door

I agree about the prey drive, lots of Utes seem to be very laidback around furries, mine isn't one of them though
