Dna

I had another shoot for Amfi Magasinet today, and I think it went pretty good. This is a commercial shot for the shoe store "DNA".

I just uploaded 9 new photos in the "Published" category on my website. I have posted a few of them here on flickr a while ago, but check out how they look in the magazines!

Re: Dna

Well shot Tommy

Who stages the shoots? Do you have an art director on board or do you or the client specify how the shots are to be taken?

Unless the model is famous, I would think a staged shoot would work better (rather than her just smiling at the camera) for marketing - but it all depends on what the purpose of the shoot is..

Re: Dna

I like the concept of it.... but for me i would have done this shot differently.

Her pose isn't the best, she looks quite awkward. Her hand that she is leaning on has been cut off at the wrist behind the shoes, and i don't understand the odd shoes either.

The lighting is good though, and as long as the client is happy, it doesn't really matter

Re: Dna

The right ankle on the model looks rather deformed also! Like it on the whole but there are a few things that I'm not keen on. The model does look a bit strained.

Re: Dna

Have to agree that this image feels a little awkward and uncomfortable.
