Golden Eagle

Took this at a local market today. The background was hellish so I had to paint it out.

Re: Golden Eagle

Nice one. I love birds of prey and despite having some good places nearby have never really done any photographs. Perhaps one day.

You've done a good job on the background though. Did you add the shadow?

Re: Golden Eagle

I love birds too especially raptors, I have a few pics of Buzzards and one of a Kestral in their natural habitat and hope to get many more in the not to distant future.
When I visited Blairdrummond safari last year, they had lots of birds of prey there, all tied and perched on there stands (just the same as on your pic Nero), they just looked like ornaments sitting very still. No doubt they are very well looked after and exercised, I just prefer to photograph them in there natural environment. Nice pic btw Nero
