Alternative pic of Stirling bridge
I've posted numerous pics of this bridge as you know but this is from the other side, reason being the light was fading and I'd get no reflections in the lens.
As I've already told you all the east arch of the bridge was blown up by the English general in the '45 rebellion to stop the advance of the highlanders, you can see where it was later patched up by stonemasons, they've used different coloured stones.
