Wooohoooo!!

Virginia Water and the Great Parks are open again after the foot and mouth outbreak so made the most of a sunny afternoon and took some pictures... the colours of the trees are amazing but my favourite shots are these:

Re: Wooohoooo!!

Wonderful pictures Sammy!

I've been trying to get there for a while now but they have been closed, nice to see they have opened a little earlier than expected - the Ranger we spoke to said they thought it would be closed until mid November

Re: Wooohoooo!!

I used a 2 second exposure and then played about with tone mapping in 2 of the waterfall ones and in the other 2 waterfalls i just adjusted brightness/contrast and saturation and then used a lighting effect to give it all a moody feel

ISO was about 200 and i think some were iso 400, don't know what the aperture was though lol.

They were taken using the Canon 400D and Tamron 70-300mm lense, no filters either ... will post up the original images tomorrow
